Step 7: Select “ Sync only these folders…” This will display all the Google Drive folders in your local explorer. You can change this directory by choosing “Path.” The default place for the locally backed up Google Drive folder is “ User Directory”. Step 6: The “ Sync My Drive to this computer” option will be selected by default. The alternative is to drag a zipped folder. Dragging the whole folder containing 1GB of files just fails and freezes Google Drive.
Whereas uploading a single file can be done with the drag and drop inter face of Google Drive, it becomes more difficult with a large number of files. In this post, I will explain how to add large data sets to Google Drive so they can be accessed from Google Colab for processing and modeling.
